Our congratulations go to doctoral student Nikhil Lalwani who has passed his viva with minor corrections.

Nikhil’s thesis is entitled 'Arsonium and Phosphoniu-functionalised Gold Nanoparticles for Mitochondria Targeted Therapeutics'. Professor Neil Bricklebank was his Director of Studies and Dr Neil Cross the co-supervisor. Nikhil’s research has already led to a paper (PDF, 2 MB) in the high impact chemistry journal Chemical Communications. Before commencing his PhD Nikhil studied at Hallam on our MSc Pharmacology and Biotechnology.
