Doctoral student Rasha Dosh has passed her thesis entitled ‘Developing models of the small intestine’, supervised by Professor Christine Le Maitre (BMRC), Dr Nikki Jordan-Mahy (BMRC) and Professor Christopher Sammon (MERI).

Rasha is an international student from Iraq and will be returning to her lectureship position at the end of October.

Rasha was very successful during her PhD and has generated five papers from her thesis work, two of which are published, two under review and one to be submitted. Her examiners were extremely complementary to her thesis and knowledge and she passed with ‘very minor’ corrections.
