Doctoral students Abbey Thorpe and Joseph Snuggs presented their work at the Society of Back Pain Research Conference, which was held in Preston on 3/4th November. Both received student travel bursaries to attend.

Abbey Thorpe won the President’s prize for best presentation at the conference, a fantastic achievement for her presentation on her injectable hydrogel for the regeneration of the intervertebral disc, supervised by Dr Christine Le Maitre (BMRC) and Professor Chris Sammon (MERI).
