RISE is an innovative and unique project that connects talented, hard-working graduates with small and medium sized enterprises (commonly referred to as SMEs, which means they employ less than 250 people) across the Sheffield City Region. RISE aims to provide graduates with fantastic opportunities, career progression, and the chance to make an impact, whilst giving thriving small businesses access to amazing graduate talent, skills and innovation.

If you are graduating this year or are already a Hallam graduate from ANY year, you are eligible to apply! At the Careers and Employability Service, we are here to support every step of the way.

When can I apply and what roles are available?

Applications are open now until 17 July! There are over 35 different roles available across the Sheffield City Region. Take a look at some of the roles currently available:

What support is available?

At the Careers and Employability Service, we are here to support you in writing your applications, choosing the right role for you, and practising your interview skills.

Our Employability Advisers are holding 1-1 support sessions via Handshake from 4th July to 3rd August 2022 where you can get your tailored CV and application form checked, gain advice on which role to apply for, and access support in preparing for the assessment centre or final interview.

All you need to do to book is:

• Login to Handshake and click ‘Career Centre’
• Go to ‘Appointments’
• Press ‘Schedule a new appointment’ and choose ‘RISE Applicant Support’
