This course is suitable if you have a foundation degree, HND or equivalent in accounting, finance or business. Develop your skills in problem solving, decision making, numerical calculations and analysis, negotiation, research and project management to further your career or for personal fulfilment.
How you learn
We emphasise developing practical skills and business understanding alongside academic knowledge. The range of modules on offer therefore includes implementing strategy and change, decision making and career management, financial performance management and managing the digital enterprise.

Applicants normally need one from
• a foundation degree, HND or equivalent qualification in finance or accounting, business and finance or business and accounting, with an overall merit profile from year two modules
• 120 year one and 120 year two credits, with an overall mark of 55 per cent or above, from a relevant degree or equivalent
If English is not your first language you need an IELTS score of 6.0 or above, with a minimum score of 5.5 in each skill. If your English language skill is currently below IELTS 6.0 we recommend you consider a Sheffield Hallam University Pre-sessional English course which will enable you to achieve an equivalent English score.
Please note the University will only admit students who are aged 18 at the point of enrolment.
