The big questions

Won't marketing be replaced by AI?

Marketing won’t be replaced by AI – instead, AI is changing the way marketers work. It’s a tool that enhances creativity, insight and strategy, rather than replacing them.

AI is opening up new opportunities in areas like customer insight, personalisation and digital campaigns. On our marketing courses, you’ll learn how to use AI effectively in real-world contexts – gaining practical experience and understanding its role in shaping the future of marketing.

Can I specialise or choose my own modules?

Yes – there are opportunities to specialise in Years 2 and 3 as we offer a wide range of modules. This flexibility lets you shape your degree around your own interests and career goals.

You’ll choose from modules in areas such as consumer psychology, digital marketing, events marketing and global marketing. By tailoring your learning, you’ll graduate with a distinctive, employable skillset that helps you stand out in a fast-evolving industry.

Is there the opportunity to study abroad?

Yes — there are options to study or work abroad during your course. This international experience develops your skills and broadens your career horizons.

Students have taken up opportunities including paid internships with Santander in Spain and summer placements with the Hilton Group in Dubai, Italy and the UAE.

Our students have also completed international placements with companies such as Disney and L’Oreal — whilst students on UK-based placements with Triumph Motorcycles and Regatta were given the chance to travel globally for work.

These experiences build confidence, networks and global perspectives that employers value.
