Employment

95% of our UK graduates are in work or further study 15 months after graduating (2020/21 Graduate Outcomes Survey)

We specialise in all fields of nursing, including adult, child, mental health and learning disabilities. The Department of Nursing and Midwifery is one of the biggest of its kind in the UK – and because we also teach a wide range of allied health professions, you'll get significant experience of cross-discipline working practices, both on campus and in placement environments.

As well as our Nursing and Midwifery Council-accredited undergraduate degrees, we offer several specialist masters-level courses, some with part-time and distance learning options. All of our programmes are developed in consultation with our partners in the sector, including NHS trusts, private healthcare companies and commissioning groups.

If you're interested in completing a research degree in this area, you can find out about the PhD and MPhil courses we offer in health and social care.
