Our current students are studying topics across the full range of materials and engineering research pursued in MERI. We encourage them to disseminate their research by publishing papers and attending conferences with other MERI staff.

Every year we organise a research symposium which students have the opportunity to participate in. The Symposium brings together staff and students from across the college with invited external industrialists from across the UK. The Symposium Proceedings reflects the depth and breadth of the research that we carry out in MERI, not just in terms of topics covered but also collaborations, working as we do with government agencies, multinational companies and local enterprises, all of whom have the drive and foresight to invest in state-of-the-art research and development.
