Process improvement techniques

Process improvement techniques

Process improvement techniques, such as lean and six-sigma, are increasingly being used to redesign and fine-tune processes.

These techniques require deep and regular engagement of employees to achieve better results and embedding practices within the organisation is critical.

We can provide a cost-effective alternative to external consultants, through the government funded knowledge transfer partnerships (KTPs) initiative. KTPs provide you with a student who delivers a strategic project within your organisation, fully supported by a specialist University academic. KTPs have also been proven to be more effective and sustainable than projects supported by external consultants.

We will work with you to identify areas where KTPs can make impact, prepare all documents and support the delivery of KTP projects.

Key benefits include

  • access to a wide range of expertise from within the University at an affordable cost
  • rapid development of KTP proposals supported by experienced staff
