The PCAS group have developed a number of materials for use in the biomedical arena including

  • injectable hydrogels for regeneration of damaged invertebral discs
  • injectable hydrogels for the regeneration of bone in (non-union) fractures
  • controlled release open wound dressings
  • shape memory materials with the potential for in-vivo uses

Each of these materials are at different stages of development
