Jamie Young
Within the AWRC, Jamie provides support on business engagement, funding horizon scanning and bid writing, working closely with our research academics to develop funding proposals involving industrial partners.
Terry Senior
Terry has vast experience as a mechanical engineer. He has worked in research and development for over 30 years – including more than 20 years in a university environment.
David Barrett
David Barrett has worked at SIRC for seven years, specialising in the analysis of spatial data. David is qualified in the use of Geographic Information Systems, and specialises in the analysis of spatial data and in data visualisation. He has worked on market segmentation analyses for professional sports clubs, and has used GIS to measure and analyse the extent of sports facility catchments, supporting our delivery of the National Benchmarking Service.
Professor Markos Klonizakis
Markos has extensive experience in the design, development and implementation of clinical trials with pre-clinical and clinical populations, aiming to improve physiology and clinical outcomes. Following his undergraduate studies at Sheffield Hallam University, and MSc courses in the universities of Leeds and Sheffield Hallam, he completed a DPhil in Microvascular Physiology at the University of Nottingham.
