The Next Generation Research SuperVision Project (RSVP) is a Research England-funded collaboration between five Universities, including Sheffield Hallam University, and the UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE).

Her research uses a range of qualitative approaches and encompasses a wide variety of topics, but her main research interests include the relationship between food and identity, regulation of the body, the discursive construction of social issues, and identity in interaction.
