My research interests revolve around Design Anthropology, Co-design and other participatory approaches, which I am exploring in relation to projects focusing on heritage, archaeology and cultural tourism, with a feminist, post-colonial lens. As a senior lecturer, I teach and support students by taking a learner-centred approach in line with the University's Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy. I also contribute to curriculum development and delivery, research and other forms of scholarly activity as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

My main teaching interests are focused on the holistic development of children within the early years and supporting practitioners to become confident and reflective in their practice. I have a specific research interest in the promotion of positive dispositions for lifelong learning, in particular curiosity and creativity.
