Florian joined the teaching team in August 2010 for all things mathematical/statistical within the department. Alongside the teaching of numerical skills, Florian is also very interested in the integration of new electronic and/or web-based teaching tools into the current curriculum

I have been lecturer in Higher Education since 2005, with 10 years of commercial and administrative experience. I obtained a PhD in Management in October 2015. I have been made an unconditional offer to undertake the Pg Cert Learning & Teaching in HE, commencing in September 2016.

Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry
Mercury porosimetry analysis is the progressive intrusion of mercury into a porous structure under controlled pressures. From the pressure versus intrusion data, the instrument generates volume and size distributions using the Washburn equation.
