A Health and Wellbeing Survey of the Australian parkrun population

Charlotte's PhD focusses on the parkrun community in Australia and how parkrun participation - whether that is running, walking or volunteering - affects health and wellbeing. It builds on the 2018 Health and Wellbeing survey in the UK and Ireland with the hope to streamline it and use it over the next couple of years. The survey will be used as both a snapshot survey where all parkrunners in Australia will be invited to complete it, and also with newly registered parkrunners who will be followed-up with over the first year to track the changes to their health and wellbeing through parkrun participation.

Charlotte obtained BSc Psychology and MSc Health Psychology from the University of Aberdeen. In her spare time, she enjoys running, walking, knitting and reading.
