From poetic films in Canada to podcasts at international festivals, we encourage all our students to take on bold, imaginative projects. This means they can build distinctive portfolios, collaborate with industry leaders and gain the real-world skills employers are looking for. All while doing their bit to advance social and environmental causes.

We made film poems in Canada

A group of students studying film and media production, animation and English travelled to Montreal, Canada to make film poems.

Award-winning teaching

We were The Times and The Sunday Times University of the Year for Teaching Quality in 2020. The award recognised our consistently high student satisfaction scores, as measured by the independent National Student Survey (NSS). We also achieved five stars in the QS Stars rating, with top marks in the teaching, employability, facilities, innovation and inclusiveness categories.
