Application of the Corporation Seal: The Register of Sealings is held by the Clerk to the Board of Governors. To obtain information contained in the Register please email foi@shu.ac.uk.

Information about University assets can be obtained from the Information Governance team by email at foi@shu.ac.uk.

CCTV

The University's security service uses CCTV as part of its campus security.

The number of CCTV cameras across our campuses are:

  • City Campus – 275
  • Collegiate Campus – 91
  • Remote sites – 13

Disclosure logs

Since 2018/19 the University publishes on a quarterly basis a disclosure log of Freedom of Information requests which can be downloaded here. (XLSX, 10.6KB) For earlier years, we are able to provide information about Freedom of Information requests received by the University in response to a written FOI request.

Register of interests / senior staff's declaration of interests

 Governance Services maintains a Register of Interests for Governors and members of the University's Leadership Team.

The information contained in the Register can be accessed in one of two ways

  • Members of the public may request photocopies of all or part of the Register.
  • Alternatively, the Register is open to inspection by members of the public by appointment.

Information about Related Party Transactions is contained in The Operating and Financial Review (previously the Annual Report). The latest Review and those for previous years are available on the finance section of this website.

Register of gifts and hospitality provided to senior personnel

Gifts and hospitality received by staff which are valued in excess of £100 must be declared. A copy of the register may be obtained from the Information Governance Team by email at foi@shu.ac.uk.
