Student Workforce Development Programme
What is the Student Workforce Development Programme?
This exclusive programme is designed for Sheffield Hallam students currently in a paid or voluntary role within the University. Here to help you recognise, develop, and confidently articulate the skills you're gaining so you can make your experience count and stand out at every stage of the job application process.
Students who join the programme will be invited to two exclusive networking events- one in Semester 1 and one in Semester 2. These sessions are a unique opportunity to connect with our network of student mentor employers and hear first-hand their advice on recruitment, interviews, and how to stand out in today’s competitive graduate job market.
Students will complete a series of short, employability focussed online workshops via our digital pathway. These sessions will help you identify your key skills, learn how to evidence them effectively on application forms, and develop the confidence to analyse job adverts so you can tailor your applications to stand out.
The next networking event is Wednesday 18 February, 16:00 - 18:00.
