How you learn

Watch tutors and students talk about what it's like to study on this course.

You learn through

  • short lectures
  • guest speakers from the arts sector
  • study visits to important cultural sites
  • working on a management project in partnership with Museums Sheffield and other arts organisations
  • seminar activity
  • discussion of reading
  • online reflective blogs

This approach allows you to build your knowledge and skills and grow in confidence, becoming a more critical and independent learner. You will be prepared for the challenge of the final dissertation and, furthermore, for the demands of further study or cultural sector employment.
