Our current students are studying topics across the full range of materials and engineering research pursued in MERI, we encourage them to disseminate their research by publishing papers and attending conferences with other MERI staff
Life cycle asset management
Our services in this area include modelling of long-term deterioration processes in reinforced concrete; development of expert systems for bridge management and building maintenance; expert advice on repair and maintenance of infrastructures; and independent investigations of PFI assets.
Materials modelling and complex flows
All the work undertaken for our clients includes developing new methods to deal with problems which currently lie outside the scope of proprietary software and simulating complex materials and systems using our extant methods
