Girish has a PhD in event impact evaluation and is a Social Return on Investment (SROI) practitioner. He has undertaken numerous economic and social impact assessments of major sporting and cultural events and has experience of using SROI in sport and education contexts. He also has a keen interest in examining elite sport performance.

I joined the Department of Humanities as a Lecturer in English and Creative Writing in 2017. My research focuses on representations of violence and trauma in visual culture, especially comics.
