In May 2011 I became a principal lecturer within the Department of the Built Environment undertaking various roles including undergraduate programme leader and Learning Teaching and Assessment (LTA) lead. From January 2014 I have led the Real Estate and Building Surveying staff group.

I am module leader for sports law at undergraduate level and International Sports Law at postgraduate level where I deliver to students both in the United Kingdom and also in Singapore

I joined Sheffield Hallam University from the University of Cambridge, where I undertook a PhD (2008-2012) and post-doctoral research (2012-2015) with Professor Steven V. Ley CBE FRS. Prior to this, I attained my undergraduate degree at the University of Warwick (2004-2008). My current research programme is focused on the development of practical synthetic and catalytic organic transformations; in particular, sp2-sp3 and sp3-sp3 carbon-carbon bond formation.

Currently, my main role is as Academic Workplanner for Psychology. I am also a Psychology Group Leader, with line management responsibility for a group of staff in the Psychology subject group
