Studentpad helps connect students with safe, high quality accommodation. Once registered, you can use it to advertise your accommodation.
Property types you can register with us
Private sector properties
Houses, flats and apartments available for groups or individuals.
Private halls of residence
Properties with over 20 rooms are classified as halls of residence. Any hall of residence where we don't allocate 100% of the bed spaces can register.
Resident landlords
These are landlords who live in their property. For example, people looking for lodgers.
How it works
You can register through the Studentpad website. It's simple to sign up and you'll find instructions on the site.
We charge a fee for advertising properties. The expected fee is shown when setting up your advert.
You can pay electronically through the Sheffield Hallam University Online Store. We'll send you a payment link once you've posted your advertisements.
Advertisements last for a year from the date they're published (dependent on property having valid certification).
Advertising with us
Private sector properties and private halls of residence need to have been inspected by Sheffield City Council via the Snug scheme, to be advertised on the Sheffield Hallam Studentpad website.
Resident landlord properties won't need a Snug inspection, but you will need to show a valid gas and electrical safety certification.
Halls of residence must be of Accreditation Network United Kingdom (ANUK) standard and follow the ANUK code of practice.
