Join the Students' Union Board of Trustees

A message from the Sheffield Hallam Students' Union:

The Students' Union is on a new journey towards 2025. We have made significant changes to our service provision, and although our core services such as our Advice Service will remain, our main aim will be to provide outstanding representation on behalf of students to ensure they have a voice and enjoy a great University experience. Our civic agenda is impressive and we will grow our partnership working with the City of Sheffield and the Region. After the pandemic, it is even more important we build back the strong and vibrant student communities so all our students can have opportunities to build new friendships with like-minded people, voice opinion and share ideas and skills.

The Students’ Union is a charitable organisation and independent from Sheffield Hallam University, this allows the Students’ Union to be an effective, representative voice for all our students. However, we work in partnership with the University because both organisations have the same goal in mind - delivering an exceptional experience for students at Sheffield Hallam.

We have a big ambition to build our position as one of the leading Students' Unions in the country, and we believe the recruitment of quality trustees is vital in ensuring the Students’ Union meets future challenges. If you believe you have the skills, experience and passion to assist us in achieving our vision we would like to hear from you.
