Once you have successfully completed all elements of the foundation year, you’ll progress to the three-year Nursing (Mental Health) degree, which is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You will combine theoretical study with practical experience, applying the knowledge, skills and attributes you develop in simulated and real clinical settings.

You’ll also have the chance to learn and work with students from other health and social care courses. This will help you understand how different professionals work together to support people throughout their health and social care journeys.

You learn through:

  • tutorials
  • seminars
  • lectures
  • simulated practice learning
  • clinical placements
