What happens next

After you register with Disabled Student Support, you will receive an email from us advising you on what to do next. If you don’t receive this email within 48 hours of registering, please get in touch.

Submitting disability evidence

If you have not uploaded disability evidence when you registered, you will need to email it to us. You can check which types of evidence we accept, or download a form (PDF, 203.8KB) to take to your doctor if you do not already have any evidence.

Apply for Disabled Students' Allowance

You may also be entitled to additional funding, such as Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA), to cover extra study-related costs caused by your disability.

You can apply for DSA through your funding body. We can help you with your DSA application to make it as simple and straightforward as possible.

If you're not entitled to DSA, please contact us, as there may be other funding available for your extra study-related costs caused by your disability.
