What is it for? The SolidWorks Student Design Kit (SDK) has the same functionality as a 'Standard’ installation of the SolidWorks CAD modeller; but does not include simulation or other more advanced features. It does not have all the same features as the version on SHU PCs but does allow you to gain familiarity with the software and to create and edit geometry on your own PC or laptop.

General Terms of Use: A new licence must be requested per version per year of study. It can be used for personal non-commercial educational use only. Research purposes are not allowed. A full licence agreement must be accepted during set up before the installation will begin.
