All validated awards are expected to comply with the University's Standard Assessment Regulations. However, some courses and modules require approved exemptions, usually to meet the requirements of Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs).

Please note that End Point Assessments (EPAs) are not eligible for compensation or repeat study. Students are permitted only the maximum number of attempts specified within the relevant assessment plan published by Skills England. Where the assessment plan does not specify the number of attempts permitted, a maximum of two attempts (for example, an assessment submission and/or viva) will be allowed.
