Facilities

Our new research-led centre, which is based in Attercliffe, Sheffield, includes pilot-scale production facilities, laboratories, workshops and teaching spaces. Students can also access the plant room — the beating heart of the facility — to control and study the building's bespoke environment.

Part funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the European Regional Development Fund, the centre will offer world-class facilities to help keep the UK at the forefront of food and drink manufacturing.
