Facilities

Our state-of-the-art facilities are based in Sheffield's Innovation District.  In the building, students and partners can access pilot-scale production facilities, laboratories, and workshops powered and controlled by a fully-equipped industry-standard plant room.

The centre offers world-class facilities where research and innovation activity is undertaken by partners and students to support and promote UK's position at the forefront of the global food and drink system.

This impressive facility was made possible by funding from the Higher Education Funding Council of England (HEFCE - now the Office for Students) and the European Regional Development Fund.
