David Morrish is a fashion design researcher, lecturer and consultant, whose work is centred around pedagogy, tailoring and CADCAM technologies. His work explores traditional craftsmanship skills and modern methods of manufacture with an aim to create a more contemporary and innovative approach to fashion tailoring, disseminated within a HE curriculum structure. David is currently a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I am an artist and a researcher. My practice-led research has involved large scale performances, site-specific works, and multimedia installations, usually developed in collaboration with organisations and individuals across many specialist fields. These projects have used custom built technologies and visualisations of global realtime data to explore how the economic, geographic, technological and societal systems we are creating, impact on our human experience and sense of self in the world.

I graduated from the University of Warwick with a BA (Honours) in Sociology and Social Policy before going on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work at the University of Sheffield. Whilst working in Social Work I studied for a Master's in Public Health at Sheffield Hallam University. Upon joining Sheffield Hallam University I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education.
