My research interests revolve around Design Anthropology, Co-design and other participatory approaches, which I am exploring in relation to projects focusing on heritage, archaeology and cultural tourism, with a feminist, post-colonial lens. My doctorate at the University of Sheffield focuses on female making practices.

I am an Operating Department Practice lecturer in the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences. I am also a review panel member for the Journal of Perioperative Practice
