I am a Senior Lecturer working within the Sheffield Institute of Arts where I teach on the BA Product Design and Product Design: Furniture courses. I am also actively involved as a design researcher in the Art and Design Research Centre

My main research interests are in early modern literature and culture - Shakespeare, the literature of the 'long 1590s' and the relationship between the theatre and royal iconography.

As PDP coordinator I lead, develop and coordinate activities regarding Progress Files for our students.

I lecture on a variety of modules across the English programme, with particular teaching interests in Renaissance and nineteenth century literature.
