The Climate Action Strategy is an overarching, university wide commitment to tackle climate action through a holistic approach spanning the whole institution from Teaching and Learning to Civic Engagement through 5 strands. One of which is Campus Management, which is the focus of these pages and the Environmental Compliance Service Team.
The Campus Management Climate Action Policy has replaced the Environmental Policy and includes commitments against key environmental impacts and emissions that result from on-campus activities. The Campus Management Climate Action Plan details how policy commitments will be achieved through long term targets and annual objectives. Both sit under the Climate Action Strategy and progress is reported to the Climate Action Strategy Group.
