An information booklet to help manage chronic fatigue brought on by Covid-19

We’ve developed an information booklet to help manage chronic fatigue brought on by Covid-19

Information booklet

The primary aim of this study is to determine the feasibility of an electronic booklet designed to help manage chronic fatigue. We will be looking at how many people take up the booklet, how they use and engage with it, and drop-out and retention rates.

We will also be assessing the potential impact of the digital booklet on people’s fatigue, quality of life, physical function, and physical activity behaviour.

Following a baseline assessment of fatigue, quality of life, function and physical activity, participants will receive an electronic educational booklet in the form of an interactive PDF. Each participant will then be reassessed at 6 and 12 weeks. Participants will also be asked to take part in an interview at 12 weeks to explore the acceptability and usability of the electronic educational booklet, and their experience of using the booklet to manage their fatigue.
