Students must attend the Practice Based Learning placement for the whole period that they have been allocated to their Practice Based Learning placements.  Students must be present for the whole day/shift on all dates assigned to them by their Practice Based Learning placement provider.

The student must attend their Practice Based Learning placement in order to meet professional requirements.

It is essential that you familiarise yourself and comply with the attendance requirements for your course.

Reporting Absence

It is essential that students report sickness absence as soon as possible to the university as well as to your placement provider when you know that you will be unable to attend your placement.

If your ill-health or personal circumstances mean you are unable to complete your placement, please contact your academic advisor.
