Attendance Requirements

Students must attend the placement for the whole period that they have been allocated to their placements. Students must be present for the whole day/shift on all dates assigned to them by their placement provider.

Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with the RONC Student Working Hours in Practice document, which explains RONC course Placement Attendance requirements, and how to report absence from Placement.  The RONC Student Working Hours in Practice document includes guidance on religious holidays (for example Eid and Diwali) and bereavement.

You are required to record your attendance on placement. Please use the RONC Clinical Timesheet (XLS, 30KB) to complete your record of attendance. Your attendance on placement must be verified by your Mentor, and your PLT, before you submit to the address given on the form.
