The aim of this course is to prepare you to prescribe safely and effectively from the Nurse Prescribers’ Formulary for Community Practitioners. This programme is aimed at Registered Nurses who work in the community setting but do not hold a Specialist Practice qualification

Principles of Health and Social Care Education
Introduction to contemporary knowledge, skills, and behaviours to teach and facilitate others’ learning effectively. Students will explore a range of educational theories and pedagogies, enabling them to apply these directly within their health or social care setting.
Improving Radiotherapy Outcomes: Technical and Clinical Strategies
This module develops your ability to critically evaluate current and emerging radiotherapy practice, with a focus on technical innovations and patient-centred clinical strategies. It explores how these advances may transform care pathways, workflows, and outcomes across different tumour sites and settings, while strengthening your skills in appraising new evidence and making informed judgements about the future direction of radiotherapy.
Fundamentals of Cancer Management and Care
This module provides core oncology knowledge and practical skills for registered professionals, focusing on the principles, philosophy, and clinical practice of oncology and radiotherapy. Its purpose is to help learners build clinical expertise, deliver person-centred, evidence-based assessment and care, and develop the ability to appropriately refer or signpost patients to specialist or advanced services when needed.
Black British Pathway Programme
This programme runs for students in Y12 to the end of Y1, and includes bespoke visits, early access to academic departments and a student mentor.
