I am passionate about teaching public health nursing. I have remained in practice as a school nurse and sexual health practitioner whilst teaching at the university. I am interested in teenage health and how to improve it. I have developed my knowledge and skills in psychological approaches to behaviour change. I am proficient in Motivational Interviewing and am a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers.

I am an Embedded Researcher in Creative Health and an Associate Lecturer in the Institute of Social Sciences.
