Hallam Progress

Hallam Progress provides support for applicants whose personal circumstances might mean that there are barriers to going to university. By joining Hallam Progress, you will have help to guide you through the application process and get you ready to start learning at university.

If you're looking to join Hallam in September 2026, the scheme is now open for nominations. Eligible students are guaranteed a place if they join the scheme before 28 February 2026.

“Whenever I’ve emailed or called with a question or concern, I was answered promptly with a lot of clarity and help!”

“They made me feel seen and made me understand that my barriers to uni will not prevent me from succeeding.”

What support can I get?

If you join Hallam Progress, you can access:

  • Advice and guidance from our friendly team to answer any questions that you have
  • Practical support throughout the year with key tasks, such as applying via UCAS, Student Finance, and arranging accommodation
  • Monthly newsletters and access to resources to support you through the application process and preparing for uni
