Creating a mindmap

When you start a new mind map a root branch will be created for you. This will be called 'Subject'.

First, enter your mind map's root branch title – just click on the root branch and start typing.

There are now three methods of expanding on your mind map from here:
 
1. Double left-click into the mind map’s background and start typing – this creates a new box. Now drag and drop to link the boxes together to create branches.

2. Select the main idea or another branch – it should now be outlined in blue. Now press the Command + Enter keys on your keyboard to create a new sub-topic. You can also create multiple branches (topics) on your current level by hitting the Enter key.

3. Select a branch and use the Topic or Sub-Topic buttons on the toolbar.
