Physiotherapy - All Courses - Marking Grids for Placement

As of September 2022 all students on all courses will be utilising the CPAF (Common Placement Assessment Framework) designed by the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) and all students will be assessed on a Pass/Fail basis. You no longer have to provide a percentage mark.

Process for Managing a Student who is not Progressing, including Refer and Failure of Placement Attempt

If you have concerns about a student on placement who is struggling to progress, safety issues or not meeting the learning outcomes, please refer to the flow charts below, but also get in touch with the student's Academic Advisor as soon as possible. All Academic Advisor contact details can be found on the contact details link on this website. All concerns raised about the student's progress will now be documented within the CPAF form in the appendices 'Records of Warnings Given'.
