We are offering competitive scholarships, discounts and awards for international fee paying students starting courses in September 2021 and January 2022.
Please note you are only eligible for one scholarship, discount or award. If you are eligible for multiple offers the one with the highest value will be applied.
Automatic awards and discounts
Vice Chancellor's Awards
For courses starting in September 2021 and January 2022, we are offering a series of Vice Chancellor’s Awards of up to £3,000.
Class of 2021 £3,000 discount
For many full-time or distance learning courses* starting in 2021/22, we are offering a discount of £3,000 for students who pay international fees and who have completed a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree or PhD at Sheffield Hallam or earned a Sheffield Hallam accredited degree from one of our overseas partners in 2020/21. Scholarships
Our Transform Together Scholarships are open to international applicants for all full-time taught courses at Sheffield Hallam University.
Sanctuary Scholarships are available to talented students who are from asylum, refugee or sanctuary seeking backgrounds.
Events and Leisure Management Dean's Scholarship
The following scholarship schemes are also available.
General
- Chevening Scholarship Scheme – for international full-time taught postgraduate applicants (excluding USA and EU)
- Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) – for applicants from commonwealth countries for selected full-time taught postgraduate courses
- Performance Athlete Support Programme – financial assistance and support package for talented athletes
- GREAT Scholarships – scholarships in partnership with the British Council for India, Indonesia and Thailand domiciled applicants
