I joined Sheffield Hallam University from the University of Cambridge, where I undertook a PhD (2008-2012) and post-doctoral research (2012-2015) with Professor Steven V. Ley CBE FRS. Prior to this, I attained my undergraduate degree at the University of Warwick (2004-2008). My current research programme is focused on the development of practical synthetic and catalytic organic transformations; in particular, sp2-sp3 and sp3-sp3 carbon-carbon bond formation.

Sarah Haywood-Small

Sarah received a BSc (Hons) in Biological Chemistry from Leicester University and a PhD in Cancer Studies from Sheffield University. After completing postdoctoral research at the Universities of Leeds and Sheffield, she was appointed at Sheffield Hallam University in 2009. Her primary research interests involve the role of cell biology and immunotherapy in human disease with significant expertise in immunogenic phenotyping and biomarkers.
