Lee Harding - Senior Lecturer

I was educated at the Universities of Bristol and Sussex, and spent a year as an exchange student at the Humboldt University in Berlin. My first full-time lecturing post was at the University of Wales, Bangor, and I also worked for four and a half years at Liverpool Hope University before joining Sheffield Hallam in 2003. I became a Reader in 2007 and a Professor in 2010. I am a specialist in twentieth-century German and European history, and am currently secretary of the German History Society

I have been involved in the design and delivery of teaching programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level. I am currently involved in student recruitment and work in partnership with clinicians in a local NHS Foundation Trust to ensure appropriate education and assessment of students

My main responsibilities include conducting academic research, providing research leadership at Sheffield Hallam in mathematics education and beyond, teaching undergraduate mathematics to intending teachers and contributing to the wider academic community

Katherine joined the team at the Department of Law and Criminology in 2014

My current teaching responsibilities span all levels in both the undergraduate and postgraduate Event Management courses in the Sheffield Business School at Sheffield Hallam University and also internationally in Hong Kong
