What's on this month in Student Wellbeing?

A selection of upcoming events from the wellbeing team, Students' Union, across the University and in the city.

Feet walking with the hashtag #WALKTHISMAY

National Walking Month

May is Living Streets' National Walking Month. This year, they're encouraging you to #Try20 and walk for 20 minutes each day during May. We would love to know if you’ve already been doing this, if not – it’s not too late to join in! #Walkthismay

Walking is an easy and accessible way to improve physical and mental health and a 20-minute walk can reduce the risk of a number of preventable health conditions, including low mood and depression.

An opportunity to reflect on what wellbeing is, some of the things that can affect wellbeing and learn some helpful coping strategies for times when it might feel more difficult. Register for the session or contact IAPT's admin team on 0114 2264380 to book a place
