What's on in Wellbeing?

What's on this month in Student Wellbeing?

 May 2022

A selection of upcoming events from the wellbeing team, Students' Union, across the University and in the city.

Feet walking with the hashtag #WALKTHISMAY

National Walking Month

May is Living Streets' National Walking Month. This year, they're encouraging you to #Try20 and walk for 20 minutes each day during May. We would love to know if you’ve already been doing this, if not – it’s not too late to join in! #Walkthismay

Walking is an easy and accessible way to improve physical and mental health and a 20-minute walk can reduce the risk of a number of preventable health conditions, including low mood and depression.

View Living Streets’ #Try20 tIps for some motivation and helpful tips to try to get just 20 minutes of walking into your day or use the checklist #Try20 Checklist to find the best ideas for you.
