University Mental Health Day - 4th March 2021

The awareness day brings together the university community to make mental health a university-wide priority and create ongoing year round change to the future of student mental health. 

From special guests Anna Williamson and Alex Staniforth discussing all things mental health, support services such as Sheffield Flourish, IAPT and Togetherall and a range of active and interactive activities - we hope there is something for everyone!

IAPT sessions

Sheffield IAPT are offering free support sessions for students

Stop and Think is the first of three online sessions that will be offered for students. More information about the sessions is in the video below.

The survey is open to all students, regardless of whether or not you have experienced mental health problems. We just want to hear from you. By filling out this survey, you can also be entered to win £100 in cash! And, as a thank-you for completing the survey, we’re also working with the University to donate to food banks in the Sheffield city region for every response we get. Complete the survey.

Motivation and Me

All of us struggle with motivation at times and the major changes in our lives over the last 12 months has meant that for some people, getting and staying motivated has been challenging. Our 'Motivation and Me' sessions will introduce helpful tips and strategies to increase focus and boost motivation. Log into UniHub to find out more and book a place
