Therapeutic Groups

To access these groups, you first need to register with Student Wellbeing and attend a Wellbeing appointment. A wellbeing practitioner will discuss the group with you in an appointment to make sure that it is the right fit for you. If it is, the practitioner will refer you to the group.

Therapeutic groups are more in-depth than a wellbeing workshop. They usually run for six consecutive weeks which helps to help build skills, knowledge and understanding. You need to attend all of the sessions in the same group. No new members join after the first week or two so that the group can develop and create a better chance for group members to support and get to know one another.
