Making sense of UCAS tariff points

Watch this video to find out how the UCAS tariff works

What are tariff points?

We use the UCAS tariff to display our entry requirements. This means we list the number of UCAS points you need to join the course. You get points from achieving a range of grades in a range of qualifications.

How can I get the tariff points I need?

You can make up the points we are asking for through A levels or BTECs, or a mixture of the two, or any other qualifications that we recognise as being equivalent. So for example you might get 112 points through a mixture of BTECs and A levels. Check your course for details.

How many points do I have?

Use the UCAS tariff calculator to find out how many points your qualifications or predicted grades are worth.
