UCAS Extra

UCAS Extra is for those who have used all five choices in their UCAS application but haven’t had an offer – or have declined their offers. You may be able to apply for a course with us using UCAS Extra.

Clearing

If you apply after 30 June, your application will automatically be entered into Clearing.

We’re open for Clearing in early July. But don’t delay! Spaces to some courses are limited, so apply as soon as you’re ready.

SHU Progress scheme

SHU Progress provides support for applicants whose personal circumstances might mean there are barriers to going to university. There’s still time to join the scheme if you’re applying through clearing.

The SHU Progress team can support with navigating the clearing process, helping you make the right decision for you, and getting everything in place for starting university. See if you are eligible.
