Late applications

How to apply

If you have not applied yet this year or have not used all your five choices, you can submit a late application through UCAS. Late applications are open until 30th June.  Find out about your statement and references, and what to do next with our online guide.

How to apply

UCAS Extra

UCAS Extra is for those who have used all five choices in their UCAS application but haven’t had an offer – or have declined their offers. You may be able to apply for a course with us using UCAS Extra. UCAS Extra closes 4 July.

Clearing

Clearing is available after Late applications and UCAS Extra close.

We’re open for Clearing in early July. But don’t delay! Spaces to some courses are limited, so apply as soon as you’re ready.

SHU Progress scheme

SHU Progress provides support for applicants whose personal circumstances might mean there are barriers to going to university. There’s still time to join the scheme if you’re applying through clearing.

The SHU Progress team can support with navigating the clearing process, and getting everything in place for starting university. See if you are eligible.
