Getting started with the Glean web app

When you have successfully applied for a Glean account, you can log in to the Glean web app. Your invite email from Glean will give you the web address.

Glean is compatible with the Chrome and Edge web browsers.

Once your account is created you can then start to record your teaching sessions and make notes.

Before you jump into recording it is a good idea to understand how your recordings can be organised for ease of access in the future.

Collections and Events

Collections can be used to group recordings together, such as under module names or subject matter.

Go to the main menu on the left and press Collections.  Click the '+ New Collection' button to create a new group.

Click here to add a name for your Collection.

You can now create a recording (Event) that will be saved under this Collection by pressing on the New Event button.

You can add further recordings to a collection in the future by clicking on Collections and then selecting the + button under the chosen Collection name
